FixxGlove™ Dorsal Orthosis

Comfortable night orthosis designed for post surgical management of Dupuytren’s contracture.

FixxGlove is a static extension night orthosis/splint that is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. It has a built-in malleable/adjustable aluminum stay as well as straps that make it easy to take off. The comfortable design may increase patient compliance in long term treatment scenarios.

Medical literature proposes that a static extension orthosis/splint be worn at night for 1-8 months shortly following surgical procedures such as Percutaneous Needle Fasciotomies (Percutaneous Needle Aponeurotomy) and Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum injections as well as Fascioectomies.

The FixxGlove's dorsal stay is made from malleable Aluminum and supports the last three fingers. Gripping with the thumb and index finger will still be possible when wearing the glove orthosis. A Velcro attachment on the back of the hand makes it easier donning and doffing the glove in particular when the fingers are contracted. Also features the Quickpull removal aid.

Made from Elastic Spandex on the back of the glove in order to ensure an optimal fit. Fingers and palm are made from a durable synthetic leather with perforations to increase comfort. The stay is made from Plastic Coasted Aluminum and is malleable in order to accomodate the need of the patient. Latex Free.

Can be washed in water temperatures up to 86 degrees Fahrenheit.Remove stay before washing.

S: up to 7 1/16 - 7 7/8 inches (18 - 20 cm)
